I wouldn't be surprised if many visitors to my blog have never heard of Louis Bloomfield. He was a corporate lawyer in Montreal and some of his clients were shareholders of the Centro Mondiale Commerciale (CMC), an organization in Rome trying to set up a World Trade Center and make Rome an important trading hub.
But, was he tied to the JFK assassination?
Clay Shaw was on the Board of Directors as well. Three days after Shaw was arrested a communist-controlled newspaper Paese Sera alleged that CMC was a CIA front designed to funnel money to right-wing extremists.
