Abby Martin: The Zapruder film really contradicted what they said ...
Oliver Stone: Yeah, and that too had been concealed from the public for a long time until 1975 when it was on the Geraldo Rivera show. Garrison got it out for the trial which was amazing by the way. That was against all plans. They really, uh, and who knows what they cut out of the film? I don't know, but basically, there was enough in the film for us to claim in our movie that his head went back ... to the left; you don't have to be a genius to figure that out, the shot came from the front, the kill shot.
This is not the first time that Oliver Stone has claimed that the Zapruder film has been altered.

The supposed alteration of the Zapruder film didn't make it into JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass.
I wonder why.
