Let's go through each of his five questions, which he has asked over and over again.
Will President Trump rescind CIA/Biden ‘Transparency Plans’ on Day One?
I don't know when or if Trump will release the remaining redacted files. I am sure that if Trump does release the redactions that Morley and company will be extremely disappointed. Yes, we will learn a little more about the Cold War and perhaps a little more about Mexican intelligence, but we will learn precious little about the JFK assassination.
Will Trump Expend Political Capital to Release JFK files?
I don't think Trump will expend much political capital to release the JFK files. And that is only because I don't believe it will take much political capital to release the remaining redactions.
Will RFK Jr. Have the Clout to Force Release Over CIA Objections?
Actually, I hope that RFK Jr. has little clout over anything. I hope that he is not confirmed for his new job -- he is singularly unqualified for any service in government. The last thing any administration needs is his conspiracy nonsense.
Will Kash Patel Declassify an FBI Report on an Alleged Dealey Plaza Gunman?
There is absolutely no evidence that Herminio Diaz was a gunman. I've covered this in the past:
A lot of the redactions in the FBI document that Morley cites are already public:
Will CIA release the Joannides file?
Morley has been asking this question for years. The ARRB knew exactly who Joannides was and they examined his personnel file. They released what is relevant and deemed the rest to be not relevant.
The Joannides files that Morley wants will probably not be released by Trump because they are not considered part of the JFK assassination collection of documents.
I hope that Trump does release the redactions - with the exception of social security numbers of people who are still alive -- although I doubt it will stop conspiracy theorists from speculating on what is still being withheld.
