Many people wrote Jim Garrison with tips and information on the assassination. Tom Bethell put together some of the zanier letters and sent them to Sylvia Meagher.

By the way, whenever I go through HSCA boxes at the National Archives, I come across lots of letters, and some with manuscripts, sent in by people and many are quite wacky.
