Wecht complains that Dr. Davis and Dr. Spitz changed their positions after hearing his argument. Perhaps they weren't doing this out of spite but because Dr. Wecht made them realize they were supporting bad arguments.
Note Dr. Wecht's paragraph on the second page:
I would gladly pay for professional psychiatric hypnosis of every member of our Panel (including myself) to determine true, deep-seated motivations vis-a-vis their attitudes and objectives as members of this Forensic Pathology Review Panel. I believe that the results would be quite revealing and damaging.
Professional psychiatric hypnosis? And this would be damaging to whom?
