An Announcement

Over the past 560 days I have written a daily blog. I believe there has been only one day that I missed posting something. It's not easy since most of my posts require an awful lot of research. Along the way, I have been extremely fortunate to have been assisted by Paul Hoch who graciously points out my errors and mistakes, and who has also provided some very important research. Steve Roe and Larry Haapanen have also been important allies who have provided a lot of good documentation.

I will be stepping back from daily blogging. I want to focus on the writing of two books. First, I want to turn my posts on Oliver Stone's so-called documentary series, JFK: Destiny Betrayed into a book. I think it is important that a more permanent record be available to the public that fully documents the tendentious nature of this film. I don't want the screenplay of the film to be the only book available on the market.

Secondly, I also want to write another book on Jim Garrison. I have tentatively titled this book, A Heritage of Nonsense: Jim Garrison's Tales of Mystery and Imagination. This book will be a collection of stories related to Jim Garrison and his sham investigation. The research for this book has already been done and so it won't take too long to write.

I will still be writing the occasional blog post. So, you can expect the following:

  • Additional audio recordings from the Jim Garrison investigation.

  • I am going to New Orleans next week and will be spending two days visiting archives related to the supposed Clay Shaw/Lee Harvey Oswald visit to Clinton, Louisiana. Expect more posts on Clinton.

  • There is still more debunking to be done of JFK: Destiny Betrayed.

  • There are other archives that I plan to visit in 2022 and 2023. So expect more primary documents from those trips.

What's really stunned me over the past year and a half has been the continual stream of insults on Facebook. At least once a week someone accuses me of working for the CIA, or someone posts that Israel was responsible for the JFK assassination. Here is one such recent post that also called for censorship:

Or this comment from Twitter:

I guess 2007 was the year in which I started working for the CIA.

Nothing like being "a traitor to the truth and your country." It actually gets worse:

Last week, someone called me Goebbels because of the 'big lie' that I spread. By the time went to save that comment, it had been deleted. But then, you can see echoes of that here:

Yup, I am a neo-Nazi. He also had this to say:

Some people think it is witty to spell last name as nitwit:

What astounds me the most is the lack of honest debate. The six-part series on Dr. George Burkley asked some tough questions about JFK: Destiny Betrayed. But it was totally ignored by people who believe in conspiracy.

The Six-Part Series on Dr. Burkley:

Oliver Stone's so-called documentary series, JFK: Destiny Betrayed, makes several outrageous allegations about Admiral George Burkley, JFK's personal physician as well as a slanderous accusation.

Oliver Stone's so-called documentary, JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass, misleads viewers into believing that JFK's doctor, Admiral George Burkley, said that there were multiple gunmen.

Oliver Stone's so-called documentary, JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass, misleads viewers on the context of discussions between Burkley's family and the ARRB regarding supposed papers in the possession of his lawyer.

Reckless charges are made against George Burkley with no evidence.

Oliver Stone's so-called documentary, JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass, greatly misleads viewers on Admiral George Burkley and his interactions with the HSCA.

Oliver Stone's so-called documentary puts words in Burkley's mouth.
